The first page must begin with the title of the paper, abstract and keywords only. Full title of paper should not more than 25 words. To ensure blind peer review, please do not list the authors’ names or affiliated institutions within the manuscript. However, the names of all authors, affiliations, contact details (e.g., email address) and the corresponding author details must be completed online as part of the submission process. Author names should include a forename and a surname. Forenames cannot include only initials. The affiliation should ideally include ‘Department, Institution, City, and Country’. However only the Institution and Country are mandatory.

Abstract and keywords
The abstract should be typed as one paragraph not exceeding 300 words summarizing the main arguments and conclusions of the article. This must have the heading ‘Abstract’ and be easily identified from the start of the main text. The abstract should not contain references or footnotes.
A list of four to six key terms (i.e., keywords) should be placed below the abstract. The abstract and keywords should also be added to the metadata when making the initial online submission.

Main Body
The body of the submission should be structured in a logical and easy to follow manner. The main body usually can be divided into separated sections, organized by Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendation, Acknowledgement (optional), Conflict of Interest (if applicable), Appendix and Reference. Headings and subheadings should be used to organize the text, following the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.

It is not necessary to include page numbers, headers, or footers. If the article is accepted for publication, these will be added during production.

Acknowledgements (optional)
Any acknowledgements must be headed and in a separate paragraph, placed after the main text but before the reference list.

Should the research have received a funding grant then the grant provider and grant number should be detailed.

Ethics and consent (if applicable)
Where applicable, studies must have been approved by an appropriate ethics committee and the authors should include a statement within the article text detailing this approval.

Instructions for Formatting A4 Manuscripts Using Microsoft Word
Default Language: All submissions must be in English (UK). Except for common non-English words and phrases, the use of non-English words and phrases should be avoided.

Page size: should be 8.5 x 11 inches (A4).

Page set-up: Use 1-inch margins (left, right, top and bottom) including your tables and figures.

Line spacing: The text should be single spaced. Leave a line space between paragraphs. Use a single column layout with both left and right margins justified. Leave only one space after a full stop.

Font: 12 pt. Times New Roman

Figures/Photos: If figures are included: 1200 dpi. Photos: highest resolution possible. Please place any figures, tables of photos after the references for the initial submission. If the article is accepted, the editor will provide further instructions on how to submit these.

Section headings: Do not use more than four levels of heading. The number should always end with a full stop.

‘Widow/Orphan’ lines: Don’t start a page with the last line of a paragraph or of a displayed list, and don’t finish a page with the first line of a paragraph or of a displayed list. Make sure that all headings are followed on the same page by at least two lines of text.

Special characters/signs: Use the “Insert/Symbol” feature in MS Word to insert special characters. In the dialog boxes under the “Symbols” tab select the font “(normal text)” and use one of the subsets “Basic Latin”, “Latin 1”, “Latin Extended-A” or “Latin Extended-B”. Do not set the font to “Symbol” in the “Insert/Symbol” dialog box. Special characters/signs can also be inserted using “ALT” + numeric keypad. This solution is particularly well suited for inserting special characters in the “Show Paper Properties” dialog box. Please note that “Num Lock” must be switched on in order for this method to work. For equations, use the Microsoft equation editor accessible through Insert/Object/Microsoft Equation. For manuscripts originally created with fonts other than Times New Roman or Arial, select “Embed True Type fonts” under Tools/Options/Save before saving a file.

Do not underline: Use italics, bold or bold italics instead.
